Meet the Founder
I'm Dr Amanda Mwale, a Clinical Psychologist, yoga teacher, and wellbeing strategist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, teams, and organisations to truly thrive. I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College London and have worked across the public, private, and media sectors. My approach is rooted in evidence-based psychology, while also drawing from embodied practices and strategic insight to create sustainable wellbeing and meaningful culture change.
At the core of my work is a belief that people flourish when they feel seen, supported, and resourced — not just as professionals, but as whole human beings. Whether I’m working therapeutically, teaching yoga or consulting at a systemic level, I bring compassion, clarity, and a deep understanding of how stress, burnout, trauma, and disconnection impact our capacity to live and lead well. I’m passionate about helping individuals and organisations create the conditions for resilience, authenticity, and long-term success — where wellbeing is not an afterthought, but a foundation.

Why I founded Resourced to Thrive
Resourced to Thrive was born from lived experience — not just professional expertise. The seeds of this business were planted during a particularly painful period in my own working life: a time marked by toxic team dynamics, bullying, conflict, and a stressful organisational restructure. I found myself exhausted, anxious, and questioning everything. I knew — both professionally and personally — that workplaces could and should be better. But it took time to rebuild, to integrate my skills as a clinical psychologist, my training in yoga and embodiment, and my hard-won lessons from the frontlines of workplace dysfunction. This business is an evolving reflection of that journey — one rooted in growth, wholeness, and the belief that we are not just minds at work, but humans with bodies, stories, and lives.
My work now spans industries because I’m curious by nature, drawn to creativity, and refuse to stay in boxes that don’t fit. As Resourced to Thrive grows, so does its sister brand FoundHer Essence, where I walk alongside other women who are carving their own paths as leaders and founders. This is not just about wellbeing as a buzzword — it’s about changing the culture of work and leadership from the inside out.
